In 2016, After years of investigation by forensic experts, Sheriff Joe Arpaio presents 9 conclusive points of evidence that Barack Obama's birth certificate, as presented by the White House, was forged.

Obama was no longer president, but the people responsible for the forgery have never been exposed and are likely still in positions of influence. Following the trail of that forgery would certainly lead to important people.

The results: Crickets

Arpaio's critics admitted they didn't even bother looking at the evidence:

"He's nuts! He's just absolutely nuts!" Pima County Democratic Chair Jeff Rogers says he doesn't need to review the Republican Sheriff's findings. He says they are wrong and a waste of time and tax dollars. ... "The rest of the nation is past this except for a few nutty conspiracy theorists."

Wikipedia says the theory has been "debunked numerous times". Yet Wikipedia's debunking is from 2010, six years before Arpaio provided his proof.

It's like saying tobacco's link to cancer has been "debunked" because mainstream physicians endorsed tobacco in the early days so there's no need to look at evidence that has been provided since then.

Arpaio passed the information on to congress for further investigation. If there were any in Congress who were sympathetic, their voices were never heard. Nothing has ever been done.

Many people agree that our government is deeply corrupt and needs to change, but no one dares to follow the blinking neon sign that says, "LOOK HERE!" To me, this reveals the extent of corruption and cowardice in our government and institutions of power.
