I was making an argument against a "social justice" demand at the same time as offering an alternative perspective on a local topic of significant gravity. I was warning of unintended consequences of said demand. It was proclaimed that I was "objectifying and decentering" people. The term "center" was used by many people throughout the fallacy filled flame war.

Can anyone put this seemingly new phenomenon into perspective. I know that in this case it has been used in the process of building a straw man against me but I can't make an argument against this accusation if I don't understand it.

The interaction progressed like this,

SJW: We must demand A! To protect marginalized group Z!

Me: Enacting demand A will cause to severe unintended consequences for groups W, X, Y, and potentially a systemic failure of industry V which group Z works in.

SJW: Group Z are not cogs in a wheel. To objectify and decenter group Z right now is appalling!

Me: I did not in anyway objectify group Z and I have no idea what decenter means. You have not even acknowledged the severe implications of demand A.

SJW: (Deleted Comment)

Me: I HAVE NOT IN THE LEAST SAID OR IMPLIED THAT PEOPLE ARE EXPENDABLE. You can not put that on me just because I disagree with you. It is not a matter of AGREE or else you are not compassionate. And I am getting kinda sick of the accusations. (I am at this point very pissed off about the accusations being levied at me buy someone who knows me very well and knows that I am far more caring than that.)

SJW: The argument I am hearing is essentially group Z needs to be sacrificed to save the rest of society.

Me: Fuck that, I in no way said that!

Me: That is a false equivalence and unkind! (context: SJW is a person who I care about a lot and I used to consider kind ten years ago before the dawn of SJW extremism. I am hopeful that SJW will realize that putting these words into my mouth is extremely unkind)

SJW: Your saying group Z has to bla, bla, bla, (things that I never said and don't think)

Me: No. Stop telling me what I am saying and treat me with a little respect. Group Z has every right to not (bla, bla, bla)

SJW: You are making markets the center of the story right now. And you are doing it when bla, bla, bla, (bad things are happening)
