Partisan politics is forcing a highly concentrated regional issue onto the national stage, and it's going to cost 47 million US jobs and send the unemployment rate past 32% -- which will probably kill more people (due to stress, poverty, lack of sufficient healthcare, etc.) than the virus itself.
