Bullshit. People went to doctors for legitimate reasons, foolishly believing doctors would have their best interest in mind. Doctors got all kinds of incentives , trips to Hawaii , condo use at resorts , even monetary kick backs for prescribing this shit. I was told Oxycontin had a very low risk for dependence. So don't think that it was all just junkies looking to score pills. We were lied to and abused in the worst way by these evil fucks

For example, Purdue Pharma tested the addictiveness prior to market release...for ONLY twelve weeks...then fraudulently went on record saying it was proven safe/effective as a LONG TERM treatment option....and yea, this is on surface-level shit
