Maybe that's because he became a doctor over 60 years ago, and is now 85 years old. For the last fifty years he has been a politician. Oh yeah, and he was an ob-gyn - aka one of the simpler bits of medicine (in those days, given that they didn't even 3d scan the freaking clitoris until like 1999); he was basically a baby catcher.

So 'Doctor' Paul was a doctor from 61-71, including two years with United States Air National Guard before starting a private gyno practice. He described as "He went on to say that being drafted was a burden to him and his family, but it was a worthwhile experience in the end."

Then he went into politics. Fifty years ago.

Forgive me if I don't rely on the medical advice of a fanny doc who hasn't practiced in half a century.

You must be fully vaccinated huh?

PinkiePunk ago

I am a green card holder. Your US government makes full vaccinations a condition of my residence in this country. I cannot be a green card holder without being vaccinated. This is not my decision.

So you come here as a guest and start slandering our retired politicians. Head on back home boy.

I come here as a tax paying worker, who, when they chose to marry their US citizen husband, took their UK job here and paid tax to your government.

I am a law abiding future citizen. I emigrated here to be with the person I love - as I mentioned, I didn't have to move for work. Or money.

I am not slandering anyone, I am stating facts that you can look up for yourself, and giving my opinions on them. Slander involves lies - I have not told any.

Also I am a lady.

How far back in your family tree do YOU have to go before you find a major ancestor that came here like I did? Hypoctite. If you are white, you are European, and your family are just older immigrants who did what I did.

I respect this country a lot; I've grown to love it. I'd like to see it led by a better leader than it's seen in my lifetime. The people here are warm, friendly, passionate and skilled - I WANT it to work out for you all. But I think you deserve better than some of the things that you live with.

If you can't discuss things with people with different backgrounds and perspectives, you're no different to a Shi'ite. If your opinions hold up, if you truly know them all the way down to their most basic causes, why are you afraid to argue with me where you disagree? Is this not the land of free speech? Would you rather win on a smart-ass comment, or share and discuss and gain perspective, maybe even show me something I don't know?

If your island is so very strong, defend it.

If you can't do that, why should you recommend it?

Welcome.

Well, thanks :)

It's been four years but I still love the welcome. You guys are very welcoming.
