Other than the dickheads panic buying nothing has changed in my area. I can hear kids playing in the street as I type this, earlier today I saw people out and about as usual. Maybe they're stupid, maybe they're smart. Time will tell.

TBH those that don't will be the ones living on whatever shit is left in their pantry after supply lines seize and there is way less to buy when your allowed your weekly trip to the store.

Personally I wish I'd stocked up more...especially on booze... but I'll take a dull diet rather then be around a crowd

We'll be fine, all the big stores are taking on new staff to deal with it all. It'll all be over before summer I bet.

They will be able to bring food- however any Chinese product is going to be hard to come by... those products use supplies that are normally JustInTime ... the disruption will take months to clear in the BEST case.

Add the huge amount of unfunded liabilities (pensions... for example) and the debt the western world carries and you can say good bye to getting the value of most things promised you- you might get the numerical value but they will "weimar germany" print money so a pound or a dollar will be worth a penny.

Think of it like when the casino clears the table.... some will hold the houses, land and factories and some will hold toilet paper that used to be money
