There will be mass confusion for the next few months, so if famous or political people quarantine themselves and then it’s announced that they died a few weeks later, it will be impossible to verify. They could be settled in a secluded place before their fake death is announced.
I’m sure there are lots of people who would like to disappear with their money right about now.

They can’t all go there, can they? I was wondering if “New Zealand” actually refers to the thousand or so islands nearby, like all of those atolls and such. If someone famous was grocery shopping someone would notice, so are there surgeons on hand to make the switch or just an enormous staff?
The one thing people don’t think about when they think New Zealand is gangs. There are a whole bunch of murderous locals as well as decent people there.

I dunno i just know the richest ones have been building billion dollar bunkers there for years. I wouldn't be surprised if they are spread out across many of the smaller islands.

I really don’t have any reference for richness. Like, I read about Bezos having a place there, but he is beyond my comprehension of what rich is. As an analogy, I drive a used Toyota, and then there are the richer people who buy New or German cars, and then there are people who are Ferrari-Porsche rich, and then there are mclaren types, and that’s where the yacht/jet people come into the spectrum. I can’t see anyone below the Ferrari level having a New Zealand bomb shelter, so where will all of these other sorta rich people go?
The conspiracy theorist in me wants it to be Antarctica.

Do we know Antarctica is all like what we see in the thing? Are there warm areas? I honestly don't know because I cannot trust what I was taught, and north north Alaska has nice times of the year.

Lots of theories about under ice caves that Nazi uboats retreated to after WW2. Could be a civilization living under the ice. Definitely a weird place. Look up operation highjump for some very high strangeness.
