What if there is Earth 2 on the opposite side of the Sun? (Conspiracy)

What if there is a twin Earth in our exact same orbit, but on the opposite side of the Sun? What if NASA knows this, but it's top secret information, because they already visited it and the government knows that Earth 2 is ruled by normal people? Imagine the chaos that could happen here on Earth, among normal people, in case this information would be released. Think about it.

We have telescopes and explorer craft with cameras and shit in space. We would know because we can see. Maybe a paralle dimension or something though.
