I love Voat. Thank G'd for you people. But I want actionable intelligence. National news is important but I want to connect with local movers. I want to troll, subvert, and expose the scum in my own back yard. I'm not tech savy, but I will become so if necessary. Help me brain storm, how do we create local networks dedicated to instituting honest men to official positions and exposing corruption. I want a fucking NSA of civilians in and around government at the local level providing tangible, verifiable, and actionable intelligence. ELI5, how do I start reaching people who are typically non actors, people who think their knowledge of government waste and abuse doesn't matter. I don't care if the three letter agencies read this post, we can use it to our advantage. I know some of you are real thinkers, help me turn it into tangible outcomes. Think global, shoot local (Please don't literally shoot anybody).

I'm going to start a "newspaper" that is delivered digitally. I'm going to use old routers that I can get for cheap at the thrift store and daisy chain them together to make a mesh network and deliver "hyper local" news to my neighbors. I will sit in the local Magistrate's court and publish an accounting of how many bogus laws he upheld... How many greedy fines that he issued that day... I'll also do city hall meetings so that I can get a record of how they vote themselves business deals and subvert the election process. This network will not be connected to the internet so that it doesn't get DDOS'd by the syndicate's script kiddies.

Awesome. I suppose my next train of thought is; how do I get this information to Grandma Jones and Corey Millennial in a way that resonates with them. I suppose this is really a multi-tier problem; Identify sources, compile intel, in a desirable format, with as much relevance as possible, to as many people as possible, and preferably with a clearly defined path forward.
