I was just reading over my copy (14 Word Press, 1999) of Might is Right by Ragnar Redbeard (a pseudonym -- some think he was the writer Jack London) and I was struck by these two verses, the first and last verse in the poem "The Higher Law" on pages xviii-xix:
From Sandy Hook to London tower
From Jaffa to Japan,
They can take who have the power
They may keep who can.
From Sandy Hook to London tower,
From Greenland to Japan --
They will take who have the Power
And they may keep who can.
This book was written long before the Sandy Hook school shooting. Even this 1999 edition came out long before the shooting, so the occurrance of "Sandy Hook" must be just an accident. But it is a very curious accident.

The original book was from the 1890's.
