Finally going after the homefull to show support to the empowering homeless.
Michigan would lose their minds if they ever found out what Kentucky building laws look like. It is illigal, unconstitutional, and cruel/unusual punishment to deny someone there fruits of their labor and their basic need for shelter.
but but but that shelter might hurt someone, like a retarded trespasser or a wild mouse or something. You can't be free to do what you want on your* land, goy.

Not if you live near me. Might be fine if you're not mounting attacks on me from your land, but keep your 'music', smoke, debris, bullets, garbage, stench, or whatever on your own land. Otherwise there'll be a problem.
And yet you're not understanding the concept... Are you imagining that "land" comes with barriers on all sides that block sounds, air movement, and solid material from passing through or over that arbitrary legal line on the ground?
If sound comes onto your land then the neighbor is not "on his own land". Its called noise pollution and it's a common issue with many resolutions not requiring government. This is off topic though because the comment you replied to the guy was talking about doing what he wanted on his land. Not coming onto your land with any sort of trespass or pollution.
Think of it as pissing in drinking water upstream as an activity on your neighbors land, even if it takes a while to get there. Same with noise.

Hence, "on his own land". It is not a complicated sentence.

Sounds like you might be "that" neighbor.

Not everyone recognizes or cares that their activities can negatively affect their neighbors.
