While the President does have king like powers it's important to remember that The United States has not formally declared war since World War II. EVERY SINGLE WAR THE US HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN SINCE THEN IS NOTHING SHORT OF TREASON and most likely in the name of israel only.
But let's be frank here, congress and the president do not give two fucks about you and will continue to strip your rights from you unless people take a stand. No, i'm not saying an armed revolution, not because I don't think it will work, but because I think the masses of US citizens are too indoctrinated into this sick culture of manipulation to actually unite.
Real change will only come from electing local and state officials who give two fucks about you. For example, if your township / city council voted that 5g was not safe to implement then 5g towers won't be allowed to be installed in your city. In your county, if the sheriff does not want to follow red flag laws to take away guns from citizens without providing their constitutional right of due process....then red flag laws in your county will not be enforced, regardless of what the state legislature says.
If real change will happen then citizens need to take control of their city council, then counties then states back.
Look, I'm no political expert or an attorney, this is just me using what I believe to be common sense. DO NOT FALL FOR THE POLITICAL THEATRE of the presidential election. rant over.

Sound advice. Yes, voting in primaries is important, but equally important is getting involved - attending your area's township meetings, civic association meetings, whatever is present in your town/city/neighborhood/ county. Just DO SOMETHING, take an interest, turn off the TV, get the hell out and get involved.

You're right. We had a referendum vote a few weeks back that I thought for sure was going to pass. The city wanted an insane amount of money to build a new community pool, when we already have one. It pissed me off that they would even ask, considering the amount of money they openly waste in our city. It was a simple "yes/no" referendum. I wanted to write "fuck no" on the ballot and turn it in. But of course who knows how the electric machine would make of that, so I just circled in "no". The results came back the next day, and to my disbelief, the city voted 92% "no". I've never been so proud of the people that live in my city. There is hope!

Political matters are always the problem and never the solution.
Brace for impact. It's gonna get ugly. Soon. Getting you most trusted friends on board gives you a chance.

Vote every chance you get. Doesn’t matter how local or insignificant it seems. Vote early and often... Vote!

We collectively opted out of our own government/election system. Letting the insane, power hungry, and authoritarians take over the whole thing.
Gen X needs to get over their boycott and realize the system isn't going away and we need to get back into the driver seat.
