You know that kid in the school yard that antagonizes bullies until they give in, and hit the little brat? Then the teaches swoop in and punish the "bully" for swinging first. After this happens enough, eventually the UN... er i mean the teachers; get wise, and stop believing the kid who cries "bully" every 3 days.
There's every chance the little brat was doing nothing wrong, and maybe he really is just an easy target. There's also the chance that he's been asking for it, and the first time another normal kid calls him on this scam, that normal kid becomes the new enemy #1, for "hating on the little guy," as it were.

I know this probably isn't the right spot for it, but I don't think Israel is the guy that's 100% at fault here.
I'm not an expert but it seems like many people are the aggressors when Israel is involved... Who knows...
