The UN is a fucking joke. They have Saudi Arabia on the council of human rights. They don't even condem Saudi Arabia for their treatment of the Shia population. They ignore most of the Middle East and Africa but always condem Israel
Israel does a lot of things that deserve condemnation. But in order to be objective you can't only focus on one country. Do people actually believe that Israel is the worst violator of economic and social rights. When we have countries like North Korea . Or a continents like Africa and the middle eats where gay people are oppressed legally , socially, culturally, religiously , economically .
Do you want to discuss the difference in severity of countries? should we discuss who was worse? let's start with Hitler and Mao. Does it matter which was worse to you? If it does which one was the better? When you decide, we'll stop berating the lesser evil since they are obviously better than the other truly evil entity.
It all have to do with context. Israel isn't bombing the Palestinians because they want to . They are bombing them because of Hamas and Iran arming groups that want to destroy them . I feel for the Palestinians . But they need to talk to Israel and acknowledge that Israel exist and will continue to exist as long as there is one Israeli left
