Depression is a disease not a crime. These people were mentally ill enough that they got on meds but it is the underlying illness that caused the shooting, not the treatment. Correlation is not causation.
If you've never been on these medications you simply can't understand the effect they have on you. Please don't underestimate it. If these people were on meth, you wouldn't for a second hesitate to say that the meth had a central role in the shootings.
I tried lots of different ones for depression and they made me so much worse I don't even know how to describe it. I went from depressed, to a state I hesitate to even talk about. The doctors have no clue what they are doing with them. Even the pharmaceutical companies have admitted that they don't actually know what the method of action these chemicals take in the brain.
That is complete bullshit. First, I am involved in my health and very self-aware. I know when my body has changed. I also have people in my life that will tell me if my behavior is not congruent with my personality. Additionally, the chemists do know how the chemicals function within the brain. They interrupt the neurons' mechanism that re-absorbs serotonin and/or norepinephrine. Your body produces the appropriate chemicals in the proper amounts. All these do is stio the body from absorbing it back into the cell at a rate that is too high. A patient also needs to take these for a month to three months before benefits are fully realized.
You've swallowed too much anti-pharm propaganda.
There are different problems that can exist in the brain. I would suggest that these medicines were not appropriate for your particular ailment. There are new tests that can determine better what causes your depression/anxiety disorder. There is even a disorder whereby a pathway to the brain is too constricted to allow chemicals made elsewhere in the body to make it to their destination. If that were your problem SSRI and SNRI meds are of little use.

You should just say that people in your life tell you when you are being a cunt. I am telling you now.

Blah de fucking blah. You heard that on a commercial. It is only the common belief that SSRI's work by binding to the serotonin transporters. Common belief isn't knowledge or science. I challenge you to look it up, they really have no idea.
You've swallowed too much anti-pharm propaganda.
You don't understand the meaning of propaganda either. What government or industry would pay for anti-pharma propaganda, exactly? Do you think the essential oils market may pool their resources to take on Pfizer and GSK? I hope so. I think I heard that the lavender farmers were starting a fake grassroots campaign against Merck.

No shit. I think I made it abundantly clear that these "medicines" were less than effective, counter-productive even.

Well there you've cornered the problem. You are now fully qualified to be a nurse practitioner.
A video?! How about an actual study or better yet find people who suffer from depression and ask them if they work. "People make money. How terrible! We should remove incentives from the market." Fuck off. I can live thanks to these drugs.

Eliminate these drugs or bar students on them from attending as well as students with single mothers and you prevent basically all school shootings.

Molyneux cites sources and papers. Don't ask me for the link I don't remember.
