Seems ridiculous but a much is spent through practice and stockpiled for reasons of future price fluctuations. Hell, I go through several thousands of rounds per year just practicing in the back yard. One person, many thousands. Imagine what millions of fed employees would spend doing that. That being said, many of those fed employees have no cause to have weapons to be used against me for any damn reason, such as the IRS or EPS agencies, etc... This is a far bigger cause for concern than how many rounds they are purchasing, other than the cost to my tax dollars, of which I did NOT approve of. Feds go through billions. We go through trillions and should be much higher than that for OUR own good. Just sayin'...
