I'm conflicted in this case. It seems almost like a rape for jobs scenario. Still rape but harder to prosecute. Maybe leverage to get him to talk about contents of his laptop?

I doubt rape-for-jobs is the worst of his crimes.
Totally but it is enough for him to spend his remaining years inside. Or maybe cut a deal.
