There absolutely ARE people who believe flat earth though. It is designed to be an intellectual trap for people who find out they are being lied to, but who aren't capable of verifying their own theories so they choose to simply invert their belief structure. If they see a theory on the internet that is being attacked by everyone as "obviously wrong" they assume it must be right.
So because our sun and our moon are balls, what we live on has to be a ball too? How does that make sense? The Earth is not the moon and the sun. Where do you think it makes sense to think the Earth is like the sun and the moon?
You have no idea about how big the sun is or how it circles over us. You think the Sun is bigger than the Earth, which your own eyes tell us isn't true. You don't even believe your own senses.
I flew in an airplaneb once. I do business with people in other time zones. I understand the basics of geometry. I've studied meteorology a little. I've searched for the path of an eclipse that hasn't happened yet. I've seen real time data for a forest fire happening in the hills near my house which came from a satellite in orbit. I've researched the history of different types of map projections. I've been above the Arctic circle and experienced 24+ hours of daylight.
I flew from the southwest US to Italy this year and the flight went over the tip of Greenland. If the earth was flat, why didn’t the plane fly over the Carolinas?
Many flatearthers were pilots. Time zones are a social construct. What about non-Euclidean geometry? What does meteorology have to do with geometry? Why aren't astronomical phenomena explainable with a flatearth? Why couldn't the reports of the forest fires be taken by people in hot air balloons? What does artificial mathematics have to do with the shape of the earth in reality? The 24-hour sun isn't proof of round earth.

I thought that was common knowledge.

Can you “verify your own theories” about space?
smokratez ago
What research did you do to prove the Earth is a spinning ball?
Cloudrdr ago
Looked at all the other spinning balls. Could NOT figure out how OURS would be different.

If you were an ant on a pool table would you assume the table was round?

Take a very long walk. Call me when you FALL OFF.
smokratez ago
I would walk into the ice wall that surrounds us.

Because "if" Earth was a spinning ball orbiting the Sun, spending half its time in sunlight and half its time in darkness is something it would do.

You spit up and the centric Gforzes of the spinning Ball will make the spit land on your sister, works every time
smokratez ago
My sister said to stop spitting on her please.
fuspezza ago
Half sister, the shape of the earth isn't the only secret that has been kept from you.

Do you eat grains? I was super mean while still ate grains.
fuspezza ago
I was aiming at comedy gold but over calculated the spin
smokratez ago
You clearly have comedic talent. I am serious about the grains.
fuspezza ago
In all ceral-ness
Aaah I can't shut it off, any way pardon the pun but I really dont know how to identify or what is grains?
Is bread considered grains? What about tortillas?
I don't know what it is but I get an idea that it helps fuel thr parasites of the sick... what ever that means
smokratez ago
Yeah, anything made from flour. Bread and tortillas both qualify.

I've been way the fuck too nice lately, I clearly need more grains! GRAINS GAINZ!

Hard to beat the 24 hours of daylight fact.

How come toroidal earth isn't as popular as flat earth?

Shut up

LOL. I'll have to tell my friend in eastern europe that the sun rises and sets based on his perception of social realism.

You just described Owen Benjamin to a T.
