It is now seeping into everything online, not just Reddit, now Github, 4chan, etc. This "movement" completely seems to lack common sense or any clear knowledge of cause and effect. I know tumblr and other areas are hotbeds of this thinking but could it be actually government propaganda?
We are seeing the sterilizing of the internet via political correctness and I don't think its normal.. It completely flies against everything most of us were raised to believe in the past.
Instead of bastions of free speech, we are now broken and the locations where people fought bad government policies together are now more and more decentralized.. Many media organizations seem to thrive on the chaos, but could this be government and media collusion?

It comes from overprotective parents, afraid to let their kid out of their sight.
It comes from overprotective government, punishing parent who let their kids play alone in the park or sit alone in a food court.
It comes from an overprotective education system, that punishes boys for playing like boys, saying bang, pointing carrots, eating poptarts into the shape of a gun and telling truths people don't like are all punishable offences.
It comes from an overprotective education system that requires participation awards for everyone and disallows school yard games that have been played for decades, because they're too rough.
It comes from higher education being forced by laws like title IX to take immediate action on claims of violence, rape and harassment or lose funding.
It comes from higher education being afraid to allow open discussion because some topics can now be considered harassment.
It comes from schools being unable to fire the teachers/professors who only seek to push an agenda, do to tenure.
It comes from the entire education system feminizing men and infantilizing women.
It comes from government/microsoft/ADL funded agenda pushers, like DiGRA.
Welcome to your safe new world. Now government approved!!!

Those "higher education" points you make are very true...and very scary. America's youth are continually being put through a PC filter...every day.
