No offence to OP, it's understandable if your new to these topics or a younger generation. It's business insider I find funny for making a video and article about something that's been discussed for 20 years.
Top Secret clearance really isn't a big deal. It's very annoying for those who have to get it because of the questions/interviews/polygraphs but half the administrative staff in most federal agencies have to have be TS cleared.
