heres a rough theory i entertain.

you can see the patterns:

• remove nuclear powerplants so that no one understand the tech anymore, even if this is the most efficient and greenest energy by several magnitudes. use coal and shit if necessary.

• force dumb work onto people. just you wait til they outlaw macdonalds robots

• force lower iq populations to mix in until average iq of the nation's falls down significantly

• give more work to the high iq hard working class, but less money. ensure they work to their death. you do this by promoting diversity instead of merit, as iq is race related. never let them rest as it affects iq as well.

• force feed garbage 24/7 through internet,creating this "must check app/site" syndrome

etc.

all this why? because they're scared of a 3 techs:

• nuclear power. its far too powerfull. one can make a bomb and wipe nyc quite easily if they know what they're doing. as a single person.

• AI: its far too powerfull. one can automate everything with very high success rate, create very accurate models and change the economic balance in just weeks.

• Live forever: if everyone knows you can pay for basically eternal life, whats the point of anything? this will lead to either chaos or instant population fight

all these issues are issues because tech has become too scary. the only way to manage the population is to dumb it down. yes its population control (its always been anyway) and its for what they think is our survival.
