Well. This is what I see. (a) Jesus wasn't against violence. He ran the banksters out of the temple. He told his followers to carry swords. (b) God has always worked through men, OT and NT. Why did Moses have to jump through hoops to get the relentlessly ungrateful israelites out of bondage? Why didn't God just give pharaoh and his soldiers dysentary, or sudden en masse heart attacks? Why did David have to kill Goliath if God could've just given him an aneurysm? Why did Saul go blind on the road to Damascus? Because God works through men.
(c) Christianity would very likely have been wiped out completely by now if they hadn't fought against the muslim invaders in Europe. Is it more righteous to sit idly by and watch your religion fall to evil forces, or to stand against the evil?
