"Bah says someone must have used his lost ID to pretend they were him after they got caught stealing merchandise from Apple. The college student believes that the iPhone giant accepted the identification and then programmed its security systems to recognize the perpetrator’s face as Bah’s."
So the perp gets caught the first time, and hands over his ID to apple store security so they can log his face to the ID. Instead of calling the cops and taking the perp to jail right then, they do that instead?
With all this facial recognition, are they using it outside of their place of business and surveilling people who walk by?
Why did the police department take apples word that this is in fact who it is?

Is it just me or are there some things missing?
