This is a bit disingenuous. Everyone weighs the personal cost involved in speaking the truth, and then decides if they are willing to pay that cost. Most people are not willing to pay any cost -- they remain silent. The higher the cost, the less likely the individual is to speak out. A handful of rare individuals will speak the truth even when it means great personal suffering. They are to be applauded and emulated, because when you lose the truth, you have nothing.
