The Seth Rich murder has been on my mind recently, and i suspect that there may be far more to it than just a server leak.
From what i understand, Seth did data analysis for the democrats, and found that their voter rolls for registered democrats were grossly out of date. He then made what i believe was the ultimate fatal mistake: he pointed it out and tried to get it fixed.
What i suspect is that he discovered a shocking but not too secret truth: the democrats ARE NOT as popular as the media makes them out to be, that decades of school indoctrination have had the opposite effect on the youth of America and that they resent authority and socialism. Outside of a few herd mentality cities the only die hard democrats are old people and dumb boomers and stupid college kids.
However the democrats at the time assumed that they had a full run of the election, they did not understand that the republican primary system gives the republicans a stupidly good advantage over the democrats, and that the decades of blatant lies and ever increasing cable bills contributed to people terminating their cable subscriptions and getting their news elsewhere.
They did not anticipate losing as hard as they did. I suspect that the email leaks were actually done by themselves, as the precursor for some harsh restriction laws that would be more draconian than what the EU has. In fact, they may have tricked Seth into doing this for them, so that not only they could verify that he is a potential risk, but to get an excuse to remove him and to get a hacking incident out in the media to speed up their goals.
Remember that there was a supreme court vacancy, and that they did not want Gorsuch on the bench. Gorsuch, in one of his first rulings, has forced law enforcement to get a warrant to access cell phone data. Something that the government has been fighting for a long time.

I thought he was murdered before I saw the video of his supposedly bereft family. It's just another badly acted scene with his parents being buffoons and his "brother" smiling. Doesn't have the appearance or texture of real life at all. His death was just another staged tv episode.
Another problem I have with it is that the fact that he was brought into a hospital and swarmed by law enforcement officers who stopped anyone from treating him so that he died from his wounds -- according to the report of an anonymous 4th year medical resident at that hospital.
But anyone who leaked that kind of information about a patient would have lost their residency, and the entire story is unbelievable if you know how a hospital works.
