Is Jeff Bezos running research for the military not subject to congressional approval or oversight?
How does a man who founded Amazon in his garage less than thirty years ago become the richest man on Earth? The fact is other companies and bookstores had a hundred year lead on Jeff, but they couldn't figure out how to make a dollar selling fucking books on the internet?
Bezos has his own private company conducting rocket research, Blue Origin, founded in 2000.
Bezos has a six hundred million dollar contract with the cia, signed in 2013.
Bezos has over one hundred million listening devic....err "Alexas" in homes around the world.
Despite the obvious advantages to business, for some reason Bezos is the only one to have made use of robots and drone technology to enhance the bottom line. Both robotics and drone technology are still heavily within the bounds of the military in regard to research and application.
Did the military share technology with Bezos in return for him running research not subject to government oversight or budgetary approval? The Alexa project itself is a bizarre one for an online department store, and with obvious potential for misuse. The recent moves into streaming video and buying the WP also give him a significant opportunity to disseminate propaganda, disinformation and influence public opinion.
How and why have other companies not been able to take advantage of robot technology despite the obvious benefits to them, and the headstart in size and capital the likes of Walmart and Ebay once possessed?
Does anyone else know anything about this slippery motherfucker we should be aware of?
