This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. Assuming that Brenton bought SS109, which is M855 (Green tips for you plebs) but "Nato," It'll just ice pick through people. The images that he shown are NOT green tips, likely they are either Mk262, or more than likely M193. I'm coming to this conclusion based off the fact that the guy was shot in the thigh, and tumbled/"fragmented" with in 8in or so (diameter of an average thigh abouts).
tbh, I know the process's to which they came to determine the proper material density used in ballistic gelatin and I disagree with the methods used to come to that conclusion. The early testing type was too dense, the new stuff is still too dense. Pigs are the best test medium, except it is difficult to get consistent repeatability per shot.
m855 is garbage. To hoard? sure, to use as first line... meh. Federal xm193 and PMC x-tac is my preferred. (I think pmc wastes money polishing their brass, and they do seem to burn just ever (ever ever) so slightly dirtier than Federal, but you'd never know from anything less than 90rds)

Here's a video that demonstrates the fragmentation of the M855 Nato round.
