It only smokes that much when you store it wet and don't wipe out the barrel before shooting.

The exit hole is the more relevant part of the infographic. That's why we should have seen plenty of blood. The wounds caused by fragmenting 556 ammunition are devastating.

Why would an army medic know anything about fragmentation rounds? They're banned in war. Almost exclusively solid core.

The US Army does not agree with that interpretation of international law and and continues to use fragmenting rounds.

No, it doesn't have a hollow core. It was specifically designed for military use and comply with the letter but maybe not the intention of international law. It's FMJ and it's always been.

The video specifically mentions it can go straight through without a big exit wound sometimes.
