The problem is the second anyone gets an indictment if they are at all decent they will say something. Meaning if PIA doesn't have one example case of them collaborating they haven't yet. The one time they do collaborate unless you are a terrorist it's not going to be you. They could sell out a bunch of people at once and keep logs though.
But honestly I think the odds of having some trouble with the law or tarroristsactivists is more likely though poor cookie management and using the same user-agent between sessions of different sites. You realize both of those things are straight up more identifiable than an ip address yeah?

Anonymous Charity says that VPNs are in the process of being comprmised - not all are bad. But, some are being bribed out
