It's because the anti-vaccine people are well organized and sharing information and have gained the upper hand in the vaccine debate.
Their arguments aren't convincing anymore, so they are resorting to mandates to force their ideas on everyone else

Maybe if your sources aren't good, you should consider not spreading baseless, unscientific fear propaganda about a technology that has saved millions of lives.
