Something bad happened with the writers in Hollywood (Conspiracy)

You may remember that since the 70's, even the movies promoting bullshit had great writing. Today, movies are not like that anymore. No matter what's the plot, 99% of the writing is unwatchable crap, no matter how good the director and actors are.
