I read this creepy case a long time ago.... spooky! But I don't see how they can declare it is not x,y,z when they haven't even visited the site yet. Aussie press I hope will follow up on the re-investigation.
No , i don't think that's it. I believe (the Russian gov.) they do know how these ppl died. That said to reveal the answer at the time may not have been smart in their eyes. Example, if it was a Bigfoot ppl would expect the gov. To do somethong and on top of that you would be the first gov. To publicly acknowledge this creature exists. So imagine the questions from the world press as they showed up day after day.
So yes i do think they know, but to acknowledge the true may have been more trouble than it's was worth especially knowing, it wouldn't bring them back. Now I'm not saying if true, it was right but as u know these things happen all the time cover-ups. Mostly for two reasons, one more trouble then it's worth to reveal the true or they feel powerless in stopping what happened.
