The case in question involved TWO PEOPLE ONE CONSENTING AND THE OTHER NOT CONSENTING AND IT GOES BACK TO A 2006 CASE. Ultimately if your battered wife says the cops can come in and you say they cant, they can. That is what it came down to in the case. They followed a robbery suspect and the wife who was bloodied and had a mark on her face consented to a search and the man in police custody objected. You are making it sound like cops can just barge into anyone's house willy nilly and heres the thing, COPS ARE FUCKING STUPID so when everyone and their grandma are saying they can break into your house without a warrant THEY ARE GONNA START DOING IT. Take the time to know you rights, and stop willingly giving them up.
