... Nations are an abstract concept that a child must learn. You cannot be born a nationalist because you don't know what that is. A child cares most about his immediate family and friends and so is born a tribalist. A nation is much larger in scope and you should not trust or care about it on the same level as your family or "tribe".

Also I wouldn't be so quick to be proud a lot of things they teach in school claiming to be just facts are complete lies.
