What are the limits of intellectual property similarity? (Conspiracy)

Hi. Since I have informations about some conspiracy facts, but can't disclose it openly, I am thinking to write fiction based on these facts. Unfortunately the stories I have in mind are extremely similar to those written by Philip K Dick, about mind control, cloning and secret world government. Can somebody explain to me how much similar my stories can be to his work without being accused of plagiarism?
