Here is an even better use of the layout of Washington DC to create a hidden message.
Google (CIA) have used the 2D and 3D views to create the shape of a man's head. It was put up shortly befor the 100th birthday of J.F.K and it uses the tidal basin as an entry wound on his temple and the Pentagon as a projectile coming out the back of his skull.
Not visible on the screenshot is their use of Pentagon City and Reagan International to create the blast of blood brain and bone being ejected from the head.
They've changed it up a little since I tweeted it at them and the 2D shape is shaded paler so it's less visible
