The question is if these fake looking beheading videos are actually fake.
ISIS is funded by the US, they're still killing people. Should we ignore the fact that they're funded by the US? Most will, since they're killing people and they're completely blinded by propaganda.
The only way to stop the propaganda is to actually recognize it. People who dismiss it entirely make everything a lot more difficult.
What difference does it make? Fake ISIS fake killing, real ISIS real killing. ISIS is funded by the US, but faking a video when they are IN FACT killing people is ridiculous.
durrr let's go on a studio and fake a beheading because the real beheaders are out watching a movie durrrr
There are dozens of videos os ISIS butchering people, then 1 video of someone simulating a scene, therefore they were all fake. Brilliant logic. Let's say cars are fake because they are shown in movies, and movies are fake, therefore cars are fake.
No one is saying they are all fake - just the high profile beheading videos
The recruitment videos have a very different style, and they all show ISIS killing Arab civilians, never cutting away from the violence
The beheading videos are strangely lit, with an English-speaking executioner, Gitmo-style prison jumpsuits, and high profile Western victims - they cut away from the violence

No one is arguing otherwise.

Easy enough to kill Syrian when they are in Syria. More difficult would be catching an American citizen like"James Foley" to execute.

The worst-case implications are propaganda, and war usually follows if (and only if) it is a government creating the propaganda.
For this reason alone it's worth looking into, but not giving credence to, until proof is shown.

You wouldn't recognize "brilliant logic" if she gave you a bathroom handy and sent you a picture the next day.
See, I can talk nonsense too, and it takes a whole lot less effort than thinking critically.
Props though, it's pretty hard mess up the A=B=C =/= D argument in the first variable!

You see some random video, and assume because of 1 video they are all fake. Pure genius. Suck it, Einstein.

There is a clear difference
