Never mind the other multitude of things that should be splattered all over the news. The escalating wars, the separation of wealth, the record poverty, any updates on the collapsing China stock market, any updates on the collapsing of Greece, hell, there could be TONS of important and vital news posted everywhere!
But no, that would cause people to think freely. Can't allow that, MOAR MEMES!
I'd like to be very clear that we should be discussing these things.
With that said, china has had a bubble that has been forming for a year, and everyone knew that it was gonna pop eventually. Otherwise the US wouldn't have pulled to plug on the NYSE within a few moments of china's free fall.
Furthermore greece is not collapsing (they were just playing chicken with their bankers). We have greater debt per-capita in the US, it's just lucky that our govt is "too big to fail" according to the banks. My how the tables have flipped.
My point is, there are things going on WITHIN the US that we should probably be looking at right now, that do relate to geopolitics, just not directly.
It seems everywhere, people refuse to acknowledge that fact. It's like they know it's bad, but are too terrified of it to want to speak of such things.
I dunno, rather than be scared, maybe those types should try doing something about it then. The only one that can help them is themselves.

All those dominoes you speak of are hitting other dominoes too, just don't forget that.
And there have been some very big dominoes falling.

Absolutely agree!
But you see why people aren't talking about these things in this sub. I guess that was my main point.
