it is pvc. you can see the white tube. the ends look like jb weld or some kind of epoxy. two wires that I doubt are connected. a NEW timer because the screen protector is still on it. and sub electrical tape and scotch tape. this isnt a real bomb, its a very shitty one if they were truly trying. but they weren't, this is fake. any shmuck would know to go to 3 different hardware stores. buy a threaded pipe in one, buy a threaded cap in another, and another thread cap in the 3rd. pay with cash. sand down any identifiers on the metal. oh shit...….. nvm ill stop.

Bro go to a junkyard/demo yard for that shit.....

what type of junkyards do you go to where you can find the right threaded pitch on not one but two caps? and the pipe?

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you...

Ones that specialize in home demolitions and salvage, ie plumbing pipes and gas fittings. Never buy (steal !!!) from a F***ing store or brand new, all that shit is coded, numbered, marked and traced back to the manufacturer and the store it is delivered to. Expediting this further, the store will have a time stamp for point of sale, obtain corroborating camera/surveillance footage (store or surrounding area). You will soon have a front page feature, starting with WANTED.

Unless you have the time/skill/material to fabricate the entire shit yourself.

thats why I said you sand it down, so there are no identifiers....

My bad... yes most def. That said, while we're '(disclaimer)"speculating on a purely fictional scenario"...', I'd go out of my way to limit any interaction/store records /surveillance as possible with the materials used.
