9/11 was my turning point/awakening. Since then I've been browsing the web to try and learn as much as I can while keeping an open mind.
Hopefully I can continue learning here. It may have started with 9/11, however I've worked my way back through history as well, and am learning to question everything.
Another piece of my awakening puzzle was Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. If you've never heard of it, go read it now! A telepathic gorilla teaches a man an alternate view of human history, which will help open your mind as well.

And more recently I've been questioning the moon landings (I used to believe 100% we landed. Now more like 89% sure).
My question to the users is, what is the "craziest" theory you have been researching, and what theory do you believe to be 100% false?
Thanks for having me!

Well you are a lot more sure than I am, I am pretty convinced (about 95%) that we never landed on the moon at all, especially back in the late 60's/early 70's. I don't believe we have even been outside the Van Allen radiation belts. We still have not developed an effective, lightweight shielding technology to allow manned missions to survive 2 passes through the radiation belts.
EDIT- Welcome to Voat and /v/conspiracy!

There's also the photographic anomalies that get me questioning it too.
