Sir, the aliens are extending some kind of umbrella from their craft and blocking out the sun. It's a hostile act!

"All attempts at contact have failed? We know they're intelligent? ...OK...Shoot them down with all of our weapons!! NOW! We will not go down without a fight."

Sir, we have launched all of our nuclear missiles along with the chinese and russians, but they were all destroyed as soon as they left the atmosphere and the target was aquired. The same for our orbiting weapons platforms; even our Laser satellites. They have blocked out the sun completly.

"What are our options? The people are rioting worldwide... they already know we're under attack."
