Do the greeks not realize that they're so far in debt that they would never be able to pay it back?

Or do they just think they're entitled to debt forgiveness?

You are confused because you watch television and are weak-minded.

Almost all countries, in fact, have unpayable debts. Greece is being scapegoated.

Your country is probably next.

I live in the U.S., ain't no one coming after this debt. We'll go to war.

Also, Greece is acting as if they didn't see this coming. They should've had austerity measures put in place a long time ago.

You could say the same thing about the German/French banks, that have now sold Greece's debt to hedge funds. Every one saw this coming, especially the banks that lent Greece the money,. So the question is, who do you think is responsible? Goldman Sachs that fudged the numbers so that Greece could get loans, or the Greek people?

My take is that the banks made bad loans that they knew would never be paid back, so they pulled a scam. Fuck'm. Why should the Greek people have to pay them back?

Banks: "Okay, we'll let you have this money, but we know you're never gonna pay it back and one day we're gonna come after you."

Greece: "Ok sounds good"

Banks: "Alright, we're here to collect.

Greece: "fuck off"

Do you see why this doesn't work? It would work if Greece had military power or any sort of fucking wealth, but they don't, so now they're fucked.

Greek people should have held their government accountable, but they weren't paying attention or didn't care.

You forgot that Goldman Sachs fudged the numbers.

As for rending money to people you know that can't pay it back, lender beware, that's the name of the game. That's why we have bankruptcy laws and protection. The debt is not serviceable.

Greece needs to do what Iceland did. Arrest bankers, through them in jail, and call it corruptions/theft. End of story.
