Talbott concluded that the ancients’ collective testimony pointed to the former presence of a unique configuration of planets suspended over the Earth’s North Pole—a polar configuration, as it were—involving Saturn, Venus, and Mars (among other celestial bodies).
Do I even need to point out that this is physically impossible? Planets revolve around the Sun. They can't be "suspended" anywhere.
Planets revolve around the sun, but what if this was not a planet at some point? What if it was a moon of a larger planet (Saturn?) and some cosmic force (a massive body moving through the solar system) rearranged things? Is this a possibility? Something like that would cause untold destruction, but I doubt that anything on land would survive, if we were even left with an atmosphere. If it were linked to a destroyer of worlds moving through the solar system, supposedly coming every 3600 years, it fits in the timeline of what the article is saying.
It doesn't fit in my mind, but I didn't study it for years.
There's also the possibility that as the sun shifts through the galaxy it is influenced, and changes color. A lot of people remember the sun being yellow, not white as it is today. Some roman art seems to imply the sun was red back then. Also when you think of the changing sun colors, it gives context for the Aztecs performing human sacrifices to the sun...
Then why are all pictures of the sun from ancient times look nothing like the sun? What proof you have that the solar system has been static this whole time?
Is this actually real? I was halfway thinking I was talking to a troll, but wasn't busy doing anything else, so figured what the hell? No way anybody could waste time or money pursuing an idea so ignorant.

Look into the Electric Universe.

There's only one problem with this theory--it didn't happen.

Orbital mechanics. It is not possible for those planets to have been arranged that way in our sky.

Why not? We have found gas giants in close proximity to their sun.

I've been able to see reddish Mars my entire life, it's pretty obvious to me actually. Maybe it's just some people who can't.

This is the point I make in my post. But we might as well be talking to monkeys.

Thats why Jews and Moslems worship Saturn.
