What caught my attention immediately when this happened was the sound of the gunfire. I spent six years in the U.S. Army Infantry with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. To me this sounds like multiple rounds fired from more than one individual. Not many Americans have the reference of being in multiple fire fights in different environments so it’s easy to believe that one guy did this. Also the number of victims seems low compared to the vantage point and amount of firepower. Those were my first reactions.
I agree, at least not the ones they showed us. Definitely not a bumpstock. Thanks for the link. That’s exactly what ONE machine gun sounds like. If you compare to other clips you will hear the sound of the rounds overlap. This is not an echo. Echoes in that environment from full auto sound like a wash in the background there’s so many sound waves bouncing off everything. The higher the fire rate the closer it gets to the sound of static. Possibly some modified sub machine guns. They would be plenty loud with the right round. I just don’t feel that the sounds and rounds match the story.
Im not a soldier, dont claim to be. I did hear multiple shooters in the videos. What bugs me the most. Is why do you need 30+ ARs for a mass shooting? Maybe three? If the other two jammed. Even then its not hard to clear a jam. None of it makes sense. Then add in the police radio chatter about multiple shooters in casinos NORTH of the mandelay bay.
The taxi audio is interesting because the way it slows. One could try to say it’s from a bump stock but I doubt it because of the way it works. It sounds like a gas operated machine gun having timing problems while the operator continues to hold down the trigger. This can happen for a few reasons heat, mechanical issues, or someone has messed it. I’ve never used a bump stock, but the way it essentially allows the rifle to bounce back and forth to pull the trigger leads me to believe that you wouldn’t be able to achieve that pattern of sound. Mainly because it is not part of the internal mechanics that cause the weapon to function. The helicopter makes a lot of sense. I just don’t believe that one person with enough firepower for a squad sized element did this from such a perfect ambush position. A motived individual with that kind of setup could’ve done so much more damage with one or two fire arms. Spraying from a helicopter would also explain the long pauses in fire to make sure their in position. It wouldn’t take that long to pick up another weapon from his arsenal.
Another good video. This is a cell video of the stage with paddocks room in the background at the exact moment the shooting started. WHY THE FUCK IS THEIR NO MUZZLE FLASH FROM THE MANDALAY BAY!

I think TPTB didnt realize WE ALL carry recording devices now.
Muzzle flashes can be a little difficult to see during the day, but with that background at night we should see something. Interesting the sound of the helicopter rotors and MG fire go with each other. If I knew nothing about this story and you showed me this clip and asked me “where did the rounds come from”? I would say it was the helicopter. It literally is the only thing different, once it flies into frame everything changes.
