Wars of today aren't fought on the battlefield, they're fought through economic control. Greece is in a bad situation, they're heavily indebted and now even more-so. I never understood the logic of getting into more debt to pay off debt, it just continues the cycle. It's like paying off a credit card, by applying for another credit card with insanely ridiculous terms and controls to pay off the initial credit card. You might pay off the first debt, but then you have another debt you have to pay.
The people of Greece voted against further austerity, sure things would have been hard for a while, but as Iceland has shown, things can get better if you keep trying and break free from the shackles of the conventional slave-based monetary system. This is just going to create chaos, riots and all kinds of other things as a result. This is what other European nations want, to destabilise and control Greece by putting it into a pair of vice grips until it pops.
