Have you noticed that many people on TV look fake? Some are forcefully and constantly smiling on camera, some are completely emotionless, both kinds look like biological robots programmed to say what they are told to say, nothing more and nothing less. I don't know if they are humans under mind control, or if they are clones, the fact is that they definitely do not act or talk like humans are supposed to. Sometimes there is somebody human on TV. You can spot the difference, because they feel alive. Their eyes are alive, their facial muscles are alive. The difference is obvious when somebody normal talks with them.

They have been hired to have a certain look while they read the TelePrompter a certain way. They rise to the top for being able to do it consistently, whether talking about a twelve car pileup or a heartwarming puppy story. This disconnectedness looks odd. Espeecially the ones with nerve-deadened foreheads from Botox.
I think the true conspiracy lives with the editorial or production people. News anchors are just good readers and speakers. Once they get to the national level their power allows them to mess with normal folks like Matt Lauer did, but most of the time I bet they're just happy to have a job - they don't even have to get out and find news!
