99% of Heavy Metal bands were a psy-op to brainwash sheeple. Normal groups like Iron Maiden or Metallica were an exception. The majority of Heavy Metal bands were promoting violence, alcohol and drug use, promiscuous sex. It worked so well, that a huge part of teenagers become complete idiots, who didn't care about normal values like higher education and virgin partner. The same thing happened in UK with Punk Rock, but it didn't work in US, so the jews had to invent Heavy Metal.

Also, what time frame was this? Did it start in the late 60s with Black Sabbath, or later in the early 80s with the whole Tipper Gore thing?

It started with the first Punk Rock and Heavy Metal bands, because it was a psy-op operation. After a while normal bands joined the Heavy Metal genre, when it become highly profitable. You can tell the difference by their normal behavior, melodic music and intelligent lyrics. Thanks god normal people invented Grunge Rock that made Punk Rock and Heavy Metal disappear. It's basic psychological warfare tactics. Music is used by jews, like pornography. Jews also turned intelligent rap into brainless gansta rap. All types of showbiz are used for programming youth without analytical and critical thinking.
