Timing is odd yeah, this could very well be the last straw.
Jones really started to land on the demonrats hitlist after the defeat of hillary, before that they ignored him more or less, convinced he had only a marginal influence, "tin foil hat conspiracy theorists ha ha ha".
After clinton's defeat, they started to look in hindsight, the bill clinton is a rapist campaign for instance, and began to realize that those ideas coming from "infowars conspiracy loons" had in fact much more influence/traction within the mainstream audience than previously thought, see "globalists" and the narrative attached to it, that's something jones brought on the table, didn't exist in the MSM narrative
Of course he doesn't have a monopoly on that term but he sure hammered it for quite some times, to this today, the term "globalist" doesn't carry a positive connotation in the minds of those familiar with the term, and of course alex jones fans didn't shift the balance with their own weight alone, but you can bet that a lot of former listener, or casual "conspiracy theorists" familiar with his work, did push in the same direction. Even the so called "nazis" and their ZOG label, factually push in the same direction, government is occupied/"corruption" everywhere, and it's not false, deepstate is a reality, aipac and jewish lobbies owning congress too, and bill clinton is likely a total perv yeah, maybe a rapist indeed
But yeah, you don't touch pedollywood, that's the jerusalem of demonrats, I think that if this story is legit, that there is no fool play, chances are that was the trigger

I think you are right, that he was named, but now there are questions about Kappy. I don't know what's really going, on except that I do believe those names are correct. But that's just me.
