Well I don't deny we have crazy weapons technology I would like to make 2 points.
1 - Modern home construction consists of mostly of easily flammable materials, we don't build with brick or stone anymore really outside of small facades for esthetics.
2 - Lightning strikes can cause an internal fire in trees quite easily.
True on both counts. The pattern of fires looks very strange to me though. I saw another vid where you could see what appeared to be a laser hit the earth. Not lightening either.
