Is everything being fucked up or am I being paranoid? (Conspiracy)

I am noticing that despite the apparent social and technological progress, everything is being turned into shit. Society has turned into anarchy and become perverted again like Sodom & Gomorrah. Technology has become highly unreliable and the design has become absurd and dysfunctional. Is everything being really fucked up, or am I exaggerating because being paranoid?

You may just see the world a little more clearly than the average joe/jane. Best way to deal with it is finding love and forgiveness in yourself for yourself and others. Its like water on fire.

Especially considering that advanced civilizations produce self-conscious people who tend to be self critical, and these inclininations are knowingly manipulated by some people. Whereas others have no concept of the effects of their actions on others beyond their immediate desires.
